Companion app for a children's audio-visual memory game

Hörchi & Kucki is a children’s audio-visual memory game created by Lamp & Sumfleth. The physical game consists of cards featuring characters and scenes. To bring the game to life digitally, the team needed a companion mobile app that connects the physical cards with audio content.
I built the companion mobile app using FlutterFlow. The app allows children to scan QR codes printed on the game cards, which triggers playback of children’s songs snippets associated with each card. The experience bridges physical card play with digital audio, making the game more interactive and engaging for young players.
FlutterFlow was the right choice for this project — the visual builder allowed rapid iteration on the child-friendly UI, while the QR scanning and audio playback features were handled through custom Flutter integrations. The app ships on both iOS and Android from a single codebase.
